I think I have a free bike hook on the garage/museum rail for this, also I never owned a trek. Where are you located ? Would this be a good candidate for a belt SS transmission? Any additional pictures? Thank you.

Hackettstown. Yes, you can put an SS belt drive on it. See attached.

Any actual damage to the frame,? Mostly concerned about dings on the tubes, I see some discoloration on the top tube I can't evaluate.
