Factory Description
Giant's Anthem X 29er combines Giant's ALUXX SL-grade aluminum and 29-inch wheels for a combination that'll have you leading the cross country crew. Up front, an OverDrive steerer and 15mm thru-axle on the 100mm Fox Float fork ensures you'll stay there. The precise front end is balanced by 100mm of Maestro-equipped rear travel that sucks up every bump no matter how hard you're charging down the trail. On the ride back up, Shimano's 2x10 Deore/XT/SLX drivetrain has an 11-36 cassette for plenty of gear range so you can spin the big Giant wheels with tubeless-ready Schwalbe tires. Other awesome components include Shimano SLX brakes, Giant Contact controls and a sleek, supportive saddle. (Except there's Maxxis High Roller 2 EXO tires on it and saddle is now a new WTB saddle).

Darn Eddie, if I could only walk I'd buy in a sec, stickers and all. Where are you located? Wasn't it N Brunswick area? MRI (again) tomorrow may tell me whether I should be buying a bike or a wheelchair.

Sorry to hear you're battling biomechanical issues. Having just had my knee scoped, I kinda feel your pain. On the bright side, in the last 2 weeks, I've been riding again. My cardio is trashed, but I'm getting thru 10-11 mile rides without too much pain (not counting the aching afterwards).. I'm up in Denville, NJ, maybe 50 mins north of the New Brunswick area.
