SOLD

I’m the second owner of this bike, I purchased earlier this year from a MTBNJ member. Many of you will recognize this bike. It’s in great shape and recently had a full service @ Halters Cycles. I’ve riddin it about 6x since then. The service included:

-New Hub bearings front/rear

-New Headset Bearings

-New bottom bracket bearings

-New suspension linkage bushings & bearings

-Fully Rebuilt fork & monarch xx shock, lefty is upgraded with negative spring update (2 Spring system)

-New Brake pads, full bleed

The bike is pretty much stock, only changes are:

Maxxis Ignitors, 2.35” front and rear. (85%) Also including a used 2.1” rear.

Wolf tooth 32t chain ring, including the stock sram as well

Fabric Saddle w/ carbon Thomson seatpost

Thomson bars with foam grips

90mm stem installed, including the 100mm also

In other words, mechanically it’s as close to a new bike as you can get. Hands down, one of the best XC bikes I’ve ever ridden.

Lefty fork has some cable rub as do crank arms from shoes. Frame is crack, scratch and chip free.

There are reviews out there on this bike which sum it up perfectly. It’s a very aggressive bike designed for an experienced rider, its twitchy and fine-tuned. Takes some work to get it setup correctly, but once you do it’s a rocket ship. It’s built to go fast and has to be ridden as such, You have to be on your game when riding this bike because it can also be very unforgiving. A few times I’ve ejected myself over the bars, coming from a 65.5 head angle endure bike doesn’t help.

It’s been a fun bike to ride, I nabbed a few podiums on it in ’16 racing H2H/MASS and a win. Good for poaching Strava KOM’s too. Selling for a few reasons. First it’s a size M, after a season it’s noticeable cramped for me. For reference I’m 5’10 with a 32” inseam. Second, I’m looking to recoup from some holiday expenses. Third, I get bored with bikes, I want to try something new in ’17.

I will post additional photos once the weather is cooperative with an outdoor hose to wash it up a little bit.

If you’re interested please send me a PM. I’m located in Central NJ, prices are for local pickup only! Pedals not included!

Thanks for looking!
