Below is the South Jersey Wheelmen’s tentative mountain bike trail ride schedule at Belleplain State Forest for 2013 / 2014. They will try to have organized rides every other Saturday, weather permitting. Meet at the parking lot behind Lake Nummy. Contact Allen, aljaxn AT aol.com if you have any questions.

++ Dec. 15 Sunday ride to avoid Saturday deer shotgun season
Dec. 28 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. night ride (must have bike lights)

++ Jan. 1 *Special “New Year’s Day” ride (Wednesday)

Meatball Mania - SJW normally rents the East Creek Group Cabin that Friday and Saturday night. Room is available (26 beds) for those who wish to spend the weekend. After the Saturday morning ride, we will be offering meatball subs at either the Ball Field Pavilion or the East Creek Group Cabin. Please contact Allen Jackson if you wish to participate so we can plan accordingly.

with warmer weather on the way and a couple of windy days the trail dries out quickly the only sore spot might be section one which holds quite a bit of water. if no precip next week should be ok by weeks end....

thx, heard that too, i guess if there is a fast thaw it will suck, but if overnite temps are below freezing i might be able to ride fat if i get out early enough
