Monmouth County Parks Volunteer training.

Thank You Frank, It would have taken me forever to get all that information up that quickly. There are work sessions for all abilities and interests, and we will be adding more work sessions after we hammer out a plan of action with the park system. There are meetings planned to figure out what is needed, and how best to allocate the man power at hand. That being said, the more people we get trained, the more work can get done. It follows that the more work we do using proven trail building techniques as taught by IMBA, the more weight our opinions carry when it comes to building sustainable trails for all users. We can let our actions speak for themselves, proving we are a valuable asset to a park system whose resources are stretched thin. So please, help out if you can, get trained, volunteer for trail sessions when possible, so we can get the parks back into shape. Giving all user groups the opportunity to have a safe, enjoyable experience. See you on the trails.

Remember folks, Monmouth County requires that everyone attend a training class before you can help at a tm session in any Mon. Co. park. Insurance issues are what can be thanked for that. So if you frequent these parks please check out the training schedule and help Brian and co. get the trails back into shape. If you have any further questions send Brian an e-mail at monmouth-at-jorba.org.
