What you got?

I did a boring road ride, then went snow shoeing. There are pics of that somewhere but I'll have to dig them up.

Sunday I did nothing. But show us your pics so we can see what you did!

sunday went and checked out plattekill mtn for the first time with aly and luke. had a great powder day that turned bluebird. awesome little mountain with a ski-anywhere policy so you can find powder stashes all day

I've heard about this place. Its a no-frills mtn with no snow making and they are only open on Fri-Sunday? Whats the price of lift tic, do they have a lodge to warm up in?

they have a small lodge with "not too overpriced" food. they do make snow..but not everywhere. and theres alot that they dont groom. whoever owns the mountain seems to really like powder.

a normal weekend day pass is 60..but we got tickets off of liftopia, with a $10 coupon and paid 40.

the place is not that big. i feel like i hit most of the good stuff in a full day. but its a great place to go to on a powder day if VT is too far.

no lift line all day long was a huge plus.

Yes they have a real lodge. Even have a bar with some good IPA's on tap. Lift ticket is under $60. You can get a discount if you buy online. They have computers too.

Best thing about the place is it's steep with no runout at the bottom, and NO LIFT LINES EVER. You can ski right on, on a powder day. Why? Because it's a PITA drive. Solid 3 hours from Central Jersey, but very worth it.

.

I doubt you hit everything, since all the woods are fair game there. Even just skiing the MTB DH trails is fun, but there are many glades to ski.

That's on my list to check out after a snow storm. I've been to Belleayre, which is down the road from them. I stay away from Hunta.
