The Good:
Runs well -

Have title in-hand
Still gets 40+ MPG
Have a service book

Car Needs:
New Carpet - perhaps a good wash would do it. Has musty smell
Good cleaning - hasn't been washed/waxed in years. And I'm not going to!
Rear tires soon - date code 2002
Front tires - good tread but date code 2009
Clutch soon - it doesn't slip but is very high
Top leaks at the door window seals
Slight exhaust leak at the flange to the middle pipe
Cracked interior panels in back from adding speakers
Rust in the rockers where water comes down the roof (pictures in gallery)
Misc body work (pics in gallery)
Trip odometer does not work

The value of these cars is all over the place. The rocker rust looks bad, but still is just some metal and bondo away from getting fixed.
The car has never failed us when driving - It is fun, and too slow to get in trouble.
No inspection required, cheap to operate and work on. Cleaned-up and some paint this probably goes for $4,000
when gas went to $5/gal they shot up over $5,000

If no interest here, it is going onto the Metro forum!

I had a 95 bright green Geo Metro 3 cylinder. It was the best car ever! Nothing ever went wrong with it and I was getting 45 MPG before it was hip to. Timing belt finally went and brother-in-law took it and drove it in to the ground. So cool to see one of them still around.
