Just installed shimano xt hydraulic disk brake set on my bike but my rear brake hose is TOO long. Can I replace this hose for a shorter one and if so how complicated is it to replace hose? Or am I SOL, off to my lbs I go.

No postings on this trail in a while, just wondering if anyone would recommend this trail for someone who rides CR most of the time. Looks like it is just as far as CR for me. If anyone thinks its worth 1/2 hour drive let me know.
