My 2013 spec. carve comp is now dropping chain often and skipping gears when im in large chainring and smaller gears on cassette. Its a 2x10, I recently encountered prob after having new chain installed, could chain length be the issue? derailleur? chainrings and cassette are in great shape

I need some new tires on my specialized carve 29er. I frequent six mile, hartshorne, and chimney rock the most. What are you guys running? FWIW my carve is a hardtail xc bike and Im still running tubes.
