    Road Tires on MTB

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some guidance as I'm not sure where to start or what's possible. I want to get a cheap road bike (<$150) so I can spontaneously ride it and get myself into road riding a little more. I'm just not ready to make a big investment yet as I purchased by first bike, a...

    Lynchburg VA

It's not near Lynchburg, but it is "on the way" (relatively) - Check out Fountainhead Regional Park. I've never been myself but I have a couple friends who have gone and enjoy more than any other park in the greater Philadelphia area. There's tons of burmmed turns and bridges, and has...

    Velofest 2013 - This Saturday!

Who's going? Any tips or thoughts on the whole thing? I'm gonna go and try to find some winter/rain gear; maybe some miscellaneous bike gear like cables/housing/floor pumps - I haven't been before, so I'm not sure what luck I'll have. Anyone who's been before, think I would be able to get...

    Conditions?

Good thing I just bought one the other day. Thanks for the input. Guess I'll just work on my wheelie skillz on Sunday.

    Conditions?

I've heard that 6MR doesn't drain well, but how bad is it? With rain all day today (Friday), if it stops by mid-morning on Saturday, would the park be good to ride on Sunday (24 hours after the last rain)?

    Pennypack Park...in danger of closing?

There's a number of MeetUp's to "ride Pennypack and save the trails" this Saturday, June 8 at 10am (weather pending??). I sadly cannot make it, but it'd be great to show the area what support the park has in terms of riders and general citizens who want to use the park for a little R+R...

    Core Creek Park

http://app.strava.com/activities/54233479 This is the route I usually take (and the route you will take if you come out Tuesday evenings at 6pm (meet in the Duchess Lane Parking lot)). It's got another section in addition to Rusty's we call the "Corn Climb" - it's a shallow grade climb...

    Core Creek Park

Been riding here at least once a week for a month now. Great beginner park with about 300ft of elevation over ~8 miles of track and can be turned into an intermediate track given the potential for air. The trail along the south end of the park (dubbed "Brokeback") is my favorite part -...

Finally granted the rights to this site !

Me too! First post! I just got into Mountain Biking this year and purchased my first bike (Trek Mamba 2013) almost a month ago. I ride mostly in PA, but have already made the short trips to Central NJ to ride the likes of Mercer County. This Sunday I'll be at Six Mile Run. And today...
