    1st Kids Bike??

Went and picked up the hotrock this morning and ended up grabbing a trek for my nephew too. Both for $25, I was amazed. They have a great selection in there and you can't beat the prices. Thanks for letting me know about that program.

    help with trail design

Hard to visualize but I feel like you have a lot of opportunities for some skinnies over the fallen trees etc. There's definitely a nice loop in there somewhere.

    1st Kids Bike??

That would be awesome, I know a few people with kids in the area that would love to see that, plus myself haha. No problem, if you can just keep me posted otherwise I'll just try my luck and swing by there. Thanks for the heads up.

    1st Kids Bike??

Awesome, I'll probably try to get over there this saturday. Honestly I probably would have looked for this bike used anyway but definitely LBS for his next one (and hopefully my next one someday soon too). Awesome program to benefit the boys and girls club tho. Sad to hear that there is less and...

    launch bike park

Sad to see launch go, it has been go to dh fix for the last few years. The crew there was awesome, always met some cool people on the trails and the community riders were always super helpful.

    1st Kids Bike??

Thanks for all the input. Its good to know other people have done that before. Hopefully he'll get it and the weight is concern but I guess you never know if you don't try. I don't expect him to get it right away but hopefully he'll pick up on it starting him early.

    1st Kids Bike??

Definitely would love to stop by for a deal like that. I've never been there before, where's it located? When's the best time to stop over?

    1st Kids Bike??

So my son is turning 1 in May, too early to start him??? I've been looking around at the balance bikes but I feel like they are short lived. My other idea is looking at a pedal bike like the 12" Specialized Hotrock and maybe taking off the cranks so he can use it as a balance bike until he's...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

It's a shame that kids don't go outside anymore and it's a shame that people are such cry babies and ruin things we should be entitled to. Guess it's time to start saving for a plot of land somewhere to build my own trails.

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

My thoughts exactly, so many people complain about their kids being inside all day and not doing anything active but then don't encourage them to try things. Not every kid wants to play football or soccer, the sad part is a lot of people don't understand mtb as a sport and the different...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Went out there today just to check out the 'maze' jump section. some pretty cool lines in there, very small section but packed with features. Jumps vary in size and difficulty so it's a great place to get your skills up. I'll have to go back and check out the rest of the trails one day as well.

    Whats your favorite painting?

Definitely Edvard Munch The Scream, just something about the colors and the emotion of it. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f4/The_Scream.jpg/640px-The_Scream.jpg Also I love graffiti and Banksy's pieces are awesome to me, not quite the same level as traditional paintings but...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Anyone ever been to Glen Park in PA? Can you ride there without being shuttled and on any day? I'm wondering if I'd be able to take a trip out there during the week and I can't find any solid information online about it.

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Overall I think it is safe to say that we won't be able to change the views of the park systems or land managers as just a community of park users. To make a drastic change to allow features or even things as simple as bridges for water crossings it would take some sort of political backing to...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

This place looks pretty cool I'll definitely check it out. I'm in South Plainfield so it's like an hour and a half away according to google maps. I was really curious about local trails because I love hitting those types of features but places like that are all far away, I do try to hit MCBP...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Awesome answer, I think an area like six mile or sourlands or jungle habitat have a lot of potential for building features. I understand how land owners wouldn't see it the same way. It's a struggle to get people to understand the MTB world in general, let alone the need for jumps etc. It would...

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Just looked up Rockburn and that's exactly what I would love to see somewhere in central jersey.

Why can't we have jumps/features in trails?

Indeed, but not that it should be on the land owners for other people getting hurt, its the people that are the problem I think. I would love to get out there, I haven't been yet but it's definitely on my 'must go' list. I hit Colorado last year for the first time and it was amazing. Trestle...
