    Dinosaurs

I was out in the pine grove to take save the date photos with my Fiancée last weekend but popped over to check out the dinosaurs. There were a TON of people milling about. I kinda miss that area being a quiet place to take a break while riding but maybe that’s the grumpy old man in me starting...

I agree, it was real nice out there. Didn’t ride any of the lower trails though.

Don’t want to have an ethical discussion on rogue trails, but I think we can all agree that MX doing stuff like this is bad for MTB. I really fault NJ as a whole, I used to race dirt bikes and NJ pretty much gutted every legal place to ride so this is what happens.

I’m getting back on the bike for the first time in like 2/3 years and was stoked to ride the new stuff. If this is true I’m gutted.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Maybe it's because saturday was my first time out here, but the trails seemed in decent enough shape. Yes there was some erosion, but nothing that I thought led to a less enjoyable ride.

    Alternate trails near baldpate

I've been digging around and see that there are two trails near Baldpate. I found maps for them and it seems like "" takes you from Baldpate to another trail called "" which leads down to Lambertville. Anyone know anything about these and are they bike friendly?

Was not expecting it to be so rocky, not a bad thing, but I would've rode with knee pads if I knew. Upper red was a bit muddy

I rode IMBA last weekend and that video is definitely IMBA (trees at 17 seconds) and the burn had to be between hogbog and the fisherman's road Side note: Aside from the smoke inhalation, it's gotta be something riding through a controlled burn. I noticed the fire break a week or two ago...

Is it really? The only power line downhill that I know of is pretty sandy, that looks way more hard packed.
