    E-bikes are a thing

I guess the joke doesn't work in writing as it did when spoken in a skit. I used to wait on tables and we're required to go back to the table a couple of minutes after they got their food and ask is EVERYthing OK. Since to a "Karen" who loves to complain about everything, the waiter instead asks...

    E-bikes are a thing

At restaurants does the waiter come to your table to check and see if anything is OK?

Dry January 2025 (The Sober Thread)

Just got back from my Key West trip. I managed to not have a single drop of alcohol and my friends were very supportive of that. I drank Coke, Sprite, and water the entire time. Had a great trip.

    Frame swap swap question..

I don't know why a shop won't do the work just because you didn't originally buy the bike from there as long as you pay them. I've had shops do lots of different work on bikes I didn't buy there and they're happy to do work on them.

Selling Frank Harms' bikes, frames, and more to help pay his medical bills ... can you help?

What is the size of the bikes? Given his height I'm going to guess XL? I know someone looking for a bike but he rides a L.

Need shop recommendation for possible bumper conversion

Just to clarify, the GX460 is a body on frame vehicle, not unibody. I remember back in the day when cars were all body on frame with 5 mph bumpers front and rear. I know my little Datsun had them and that saved the support posts of our carport many times when I just started driving.

Need shop recommendation for possible bumper conversion

If my GX was set up like the one in the picture then there would have been no damage at all. The skid plate would have scraped the top of its head and the truck would have just rolled over it. I don't expect to hit another turkey so I can't mod my truck to be just turkey proof but the idea of...

Need shop recommendation for possible bumper conversion

It is 2017. I'm looking for one that will allow me to keep the fog lights and front parking sensors. Aluminum is a good option. I get what you're saying about it snowballing to other mods. I can pick the perfect bumper but then decide it doesn't match the stance of the truck so now it needs to...

Need shop recommendation for possible bumper conversion

Yup. On the surface it didn't look that bad, just a hole in the grill and cracked bumper cover (see picture). But when they opened it up they found a lot more damage that was done behind the grill. The parking sensors got busted, the headlight assembly mount broke, same goes for the fog light...

Need shop recommendation for possible bumper conversion

After my recent encounter with a wild turkey on an interstate in PA that caused over $8K in repairs to my GX, I'm thinking about doing what many have done to theirs. My Lexus GX460 is all grill and plastic cover up front. When a turkey decided to jump on the highway right in front of me it...
