Stick Toastie Toes directly on your feet, no matter what the package says about applying directly to skin. Once warm put your neoprene storm socks over them and you'll be good to 18 degrees. Also for fingers you can get winter craftsmen worker gloves at Home Depot.

Storm Socks are great for cold weather, they are neoprene.

What is the typical age range of the kids? How many 6 year olds?

I like 32 in rear and 30 in front for tubeless. less than 30 risks burping air and sometimes losing the bead.

Sorry I bailed early. I had a really wierd uphill crash into a crazy bush with sharp prickers and split my thumb open early on and had to tape it up with electrical tape. That combined with not having my Giant I just wasn't feelin it. I'll be up for another epic soon though.
