    Brake Bleed Issue

Bought a Sram RS front hydraulic brake off the bay several months ago. Its an older model, pre-2016 per info I found online. Finally got around to bleeding it because when installed at first it didn't brake that well. Got the Sram bleeding kit and followed the instructions. When I try to push...

    2000 Cannondale F3000 SL

Years ago I bought my first serious mountain bike off this site which was a 2000 Cannondale F3000 SL medium frame. I have since sold it to a buddy, who sold it and no idea where it went. I really like the look and loved the ride. I'm looking to see if anyone has this frame sitting around...

Cracked Salsa Rear Triangle - Replacement?

So I cracked the rear triangle yesterday on my spearfish. It does not have a warranty so I am out of luck there. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement rear triangle? I'm following the welded frame thread closely just in case haha

Be careful with motorcycles. I've seen them walking behind buildings looking for bikes to ticket and even tow. Bicycles are the way to travel for sure! I lived in new Brunswick and all my classes were on Busch. Biking there was most times faster than the buses.

    Rutgers University

There's an outdoor club which is kinda cool. They do hiking, snowshoeing, caving, camping trips, etc. And you can borrow kayaks and canoes and other outdoor equipment Also the rockwall on college ave isn't bad. A buck to rent shoes and free to climb Also, be careful at night around college...

Second date: MTBNJ Skills Clinic, June 28th

I want to say thanks to Ben for a great lesson and spending the extra time to cover every subject he wanted and personal instruction throughout the day. I learned a lot of new techniques and reinforced things I already knew as well as pointed out a lot of faults I can work on. If anyone has...

    high mountain blues?

Went today for the first time. Very cool place. I made it up to the summit and then towards the bottom got a flat and didn't have a spare tube so it was a long walk back. It was my first time with a pretty long downhill with a lot of loose decent sized rocks. Definitely a new experience I...

How does this place dry out? With the massive amounts of rain today not sure if tomorrow the trails will be good to go.

    What a bunch of scumbags

My bike was stolen in New Brunswick about a year ago. It was never recovered but the guy received a few years in prison. Then maybe I'll get a reimbursement check from him. Good to hear the police are taking this more seriously. What do these people do with the bikes anyway? Scrap?

    Kim's in New Brunswick

I'm glad you had a good experience at Kim's. On the other hand I try to avoid this shop at all times. Brought my bike in for a tune up. They didn't tighten the rear wheel and I didn't double check their work as I felt I shouldn't have needed to. Hit the trail and the rear wheel ended up...
