I also found an Xterra 50K race one time I was there...Rented a bike and jumped in on it. Amazing riding...The race took place on the site where they filmed Jurasic Park and a bunch of other movies. Really cool experience.... Not sure if it is open to the public for MTB'ing but amazing...
