    Any suckers watching soccer?

Usually they are! Nobody want's to risk anything. This was an unusual game, this is how it's supposed to be, well, except the f'ing penaly kicks. I also agree with what someone here said already, we should go longer on extra time and sudden death.

    Any suckers watching soccer?

Have relatives over there?! We're flying there on Tue. Bummer that we'll miss the craziness going on now. I lived it twice but my kids have no idea (they are like - wtf, they are on top of the street lights :) Something "unique".

    Any suckers watching soccer?

Croatia is no underdog! Sub-champions and last time we played they beat us 3-0 (or 2-0, can't remember).

    Any suckers watching soccer?

Tough nut to crack Croatia. Best game for Argentina so far. Now, let’s go Marruecos!!!! I don’t think for a second Morocco will be an easy team, but I’d love for them to get to the finals.

    Any suckers watching soccer?

Crazy but not that much really. It’s what Croatia did with Brazil. Croacia Argentina is going to be a really tough game.

    Any suckers watching soccer?

Pheeew!!! Argentina is always the same - generally, good fútbol and good effort, but while ahead we display arrogance and make stupid (and coslty) mistakes. Doesn't make for an enjoyable viewing experience :) My wife was getting reminders from Garmin to relax and make breathing exercises :)

    Going Long and Hard.

Speaking about how rare is to see these bikes around/how few of them are, a funny anecdote. During a bikepacking race last year I was chasing a rider for half a day, seeing him/her only in the distance. I finally caught him right at the highest point of the course and he had exactly the same...

What Fat bike should I buy next???

I had a lot of fun in a Fatboy that @jimvreeland built for me. I regret having sold it. It was a great jack of all trades (at least back then). Good in the snow, dry trails, sand, mud, etc. It rode more like a mtb, especially with 4" tires in dry trails/sand vs. the 907, which had more of a...

    Going Long and Hard.

Yep, the S-Works are very hard to come by! The first one I got it as a full bike from a Spec-sponsored rider. The second one, through a favor from the Spec Boulder Experience Center manager, who tracked down the last M frame in Brushed Black/Liquid Metal in the US and negotiated an exception so...

    Going Long and Hard.

Awesome bike! Much more solid/capable than what its svelte figure suggests. I got one last year that went out in the fire and this year, thanks to a big discount from Specialized, I built another frame.

    Going Long and Hard.

Don't throw away the time you already spent prepping :) The one thing difficult to prepare for in NJ is the altitude - I think the highest point there is that obelisk at High Point State Park at 1,800 ft, a bit below the 12,270 ft of the CTR. On the positive side, since you are a polar bear you...

    Going Long and Hard.

Is the CTR on your list? If not, it should be :) Best bang for the buck in terms of fun & suffering per day put aside for the event, plus a short event compared the others. I can host you, and give you a ride to Durango ;)

PSA: Remember to insure your bikes

Wow! This is awesome! Thank you for thinking of me! I'll fill the form right now, and I'll pass it over to other cyclists I know whose house burned. People like you, companies like Pactimo, institutions like the Red Cross and many more are making this less daunting/painful that what it would be...

PSA: Remember to insure your bikes

I thought I'd share some very good news. I'm back on the road, and soon on the dirt as well :) After the fire I couldn't even think about bikes. Just looking at people riding or seeing tracks in the snow reminded me of everything I lost and I just couldn't let go of that and focus on looking...
