    Ringwood State Park Conditions

Thank you both for that information. The Ringwood State Park trail brochure is misleading because it says the State Line Trail crosses into New York so I’ll let the Ringwood State Park staff know it’s incorrect.

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

I know you guys said the State Line Trail goes to the border of New Jersey and New York and that there is a social trail across the street from there but does that social trail also have trail blazes? I’m asking because I’ve never been on that trail.

    That’s definitely possible.

    How Is Everybody?

Hi everybody, I went on the Indian Purchase Trail and I took photos from under the regular powerlines and I took two photos from the access to the trail from Dreahook Road at those powerlines. The seventh photo is of a tree with branches that looks like what happens to people’s noses when they...

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

I looked at the trail brochure for Ringwood State Park and it says that the State Line Trail crosses the state border into New York and the Ringwood State Park staff told me the State Line Trail enters Sterling Forest in New York but is that correct?

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

Ok, I’ll go by what Trailforks shows. Thank you for that advice and information.

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

Good morning. I noticed Trailforks shows the wrong blaze color for some of the trails in Ringwood State Park. For example, the State Line Trail in Ringwood State Park has orange blazes but Trailforks shows it as having blue blazes. I don’t remember which other trails show the wrong trail...

    How Is Everybody?

Good morning. My life skills coach and I hiked the Indian Purchase Trail to the wooden pole powerlines like I did last week and we saw there’s definitely an access to the trail from Dreahook Road there. It’s a gravel driveway like path that goes down to the trail. I forgot to take pictures...

    How Is Everybody?

Good morning. This is a screenshot I took this morning of the regular powerlines that the Indian Purchase Trail goes along and crosses a bridge over the stream and then turns right. There’s also an access to the trail from Dreahook Road there.

    How Is Everybody?

Hi everybody. I went on the Indian Purchase Trail today to where there are regular powerlines on wooden poles and the trail turns left under the powerlines and goes over a bridge over the stream and I almost slipped on walnuts on the ground a few times so I decided to be safe and turn around.

    How Is Everybody?

Good morning. I hope everybody is doing great. I went on the Indian Purchase Trail again yesterday to that spot where the trail goes down the small hill in the wooded area to the left of the houses but the grass was still a little high down there so I turned around so I wouldn’t get ticks on...

    How Is Everybody?

I went on the Indian Purchase Trail about an hour ago and I went to where the trail goes down a small hill in the wooded area to the left of the houses and gets closer to a stream on the left but that section had higher grass and I didn’t want to get ticks on me so I turned around at the top of...

    How Is Everybody?

Good morning. I just remembered that in January this year, I followed the white marked Indian purchase trail to the power lines at the bottom of Cushetunk Mountain and I started to follow the white trail up Cushetunk Mountain but the trail got really steep. It got too steep to just walk up so...

    How Is Everybody?

I went on the Indian Purchase Trail yesterday but only to the spot where there was a little stream to the left of the trail in a little wooded area to the left of the houses. It was quite hot yesterday so I turned around there.

    How Is Everybody?

My life skills coach and I went on a little of the Indian Purchase Trail around 10 minutes ago and she took these 2 photos of me on the trail section near Dreahook Road.

    How Is Everybody?

Hi, I hope everybody is doing great. In 2009, I followed the Vislocky property fields next to Pickell Park and I eventually went left through a gap in the trees and followed a dirt trail to the powerlines at the bottom of Cushetunk Mountain and there was a rock wall directly to the right of...
