WTB: Pannier Bag for Trail Maintenance Bike

Looking for a bag for the top of the rack, or the side? I think we have some options on hand in Trenton at C.O.G. - THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH GARAGE, and I bet they have stuff at the Bike Exchange and Second Life as well.

    Car-spotting thread

Seems like he was chill about the whole thing, that's super cool and fits the car guy persona IMO.

    Car-spotting thread

That was a generous offer. When I turned 16 my father told me you better get a job and buy your own car if you ever want to drive

    Gravel bike recommendations...

In all seriousness, I see the point of looking for a frame that supports larger tires if buying new. There are more options on the market now. However, if the mission is more along the line of buy used / on a budget or continue using what I have then I'd think long and hard about actual use...

    Meeting w/park superintendent

Says free, but this language makes it seem like they're more interested in paved than natural surface trail. I don't have the time right now to go deeper than the first page.

    Best Bike for Burley Trailer

Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade if you want to. But if you're happy with the Mary, you might be able to swap a derailleur hanger on and add gears depending on how much you like to tinker.

    Travel Bag Recommendations

I've used the Airport Ninja to travel with a size 56 cross bike and a large hardtail 29er. This style case does require pulling the fork, but that's just a few stem bolts so not that big of a deal. There's an internal set of pockets that don't actually close, so the contents would go...

    Wtb: 8 speed shifter

FWIW I just set up a 10 speed shifter and 9 speed cassette (both Shimano road) using alternate cable routing. Seems to run well in the stand, will see about the real world.

    Honest E-Bike Question

On the mfg side, it's all down to whether or not the brand has a reputation to protect. As for riders, in the US and in much of the world does anybody actually GAF about the law, and is much of anything enforced either on the road or trail? The difference between different classes (and out of...

    Upgraditis has set in-Specialized Diverge

Are you going to be able to ride in peace without thinking about mismatched levers? Brake cable pull should be fine. Assuming you're talking about 3.30 hubs, you're not gonna find any 12-thru endcaps. So it'll be 100x the like new bikes? 😆
