    Trail Maintenance

What do we have to do, who do we have to talk to, in order to get some TLC at this park? Since I consider it my home trail, I'd like to take care of her. Definitely could stand to work on the *main* connector trail, that really shouldn't be ridden.

Who wants to have a laugh...

at my expense? I've said for the last 9 years that I would try snowboarding every year. Until now that has never happened. This year I finally said to hell with it and went out and got all the gear I think I would need and picked up a season pass to Mountain Creek. Now I know for most it...

    N-Gear Jump Stop

A+ :D Picked up from Halters on Monday and rode with it on Tuesday but didn't tighten down the screw enough and still dropped my chain. However, I tightened the booger out of it today and did not once drop my chain! I had been dropping roughly 10 times per ride at Tourne after I took off...

Maybe my mind was in the gutter (Case of Possibly Bad Business Name)

So I was heading down to a customer and was stopped at a red light. Bored, I looked around and staring at me through the passenger window was the logo on a big rig door: A. Duie Pyle Construction :hitsfan: Really? Apparently they are pretty good size, but come on. Somebody...

Why you should not go to a demo...

    1. You will walk away with the want to spend money on a new bike. 2. See number 1 I made it to the Trek Demo day up at The Tourne today with the sole purpose of trying out a 29er. I went to try the HiFi, but ended up riding a SuperFly first. Holy #$(%, the speed, the mother f'ng...

    Improvements

I started back to this wonderful thing called mountain biking last September (Jorba Fest was first ride on new bike) after 8 years of doing nothing more than sitting at a desk pushing buttons for 18+ hours a day. I wanted a way to track my progress so I opted for a GPS from the beginning and...

    Cross-Training

So a couple of weeks ago I busted up my wrist breaking a fall. Luckily my road-bike finally came in and allowed me to spend some time on it. I've probably put in close to 250 miles on the new ride since getting her home, this is almost double what I have ridden since the beginning of the...

    Trail Conditions

Rode tonight around 7:30-8pm. Almost all of the trails were in excellent condition, the only trail to avoid is the *white* trail leading from Tourne to Beaches. Of course this is usually the most wet area in the place. It felt great to be back on the trails after 2-3 weeks off due to...
