Just rode 6M yesterday for the first time in a year... I'm definitely going to join in on the fun. Haven't been riding as much this year with other activities going on so my pace is not fast, avg. 8 yesterday for a ride time of 1.5 hours. So maybe I could help out with a slower group?

My droid keeps trying to apply the flash ota update but keeps failing. Every few days I'll get the notification to complete the update and I try, but it never works. I keep seeing the old build number in the the About Phone tab. Any ideas?

I saw one yesterday evening on Red Trail closer to 287. Little one, was looking for a momma bear but nothing to be seen. This one stopped for a second 'til I made a ruckus and then he took off down the hill towards the lake.

I bought mine with just WiFi. As someone already posted almost all phones *especially* droids and other android based phones will be able to act as WiFi hotspots in near future (already if you hack 'em). I use mine as mostly an eReader. Why lock yourself into one service i.e. Nook or Kindle...

http://www.swampclub.org/ +1 on Santos. Unfortunately found out about that place just before I moved to Jersey 10 years ago and haven't been back since. But even then they were some of the best trails around. Now it's considered an IMBA Epic trail system.

I ride a 2008 prophet 1. It came with a fox talas. I actually use the talas when climbing steeper hills. The prophet is designed for a lefty. You might have to get an extended adapter on the lower section of the head tube if you don't want your cables and breaks from being worn out. Sent...

It got walked quite a bit last year because it was slicker than snot. If it is dry the climb would be manageable.

Just watch out for the really tight trees next to the cliff drop off right after the concrete manhole... My first lap made it through and said to myself "ha, better not clip that tree or it'll be one heck of a fall' Next lap, I clipped the f'n tree and slid all the way down to the bottom...
