I know plenty of riders who will run 200mm rotors (up front at minimum). It may be worth trying.

What size rotors? Any squeaking? Are pads metallic or organic? If organic, maybe try metallic. Those brake should be plenty to stop you. I’d say something is off… I think re-bedding is a good start. If that doesn’t work, try bigger rotors and metallic pads.

I decided to keep both Evos. I have the Epic 7(?) set as my race bike with the slammed stem and fhe 120 fork. And the epic 8 with the 130 fork and stock stem. It’s like 2 totally different bikes.

I didn’t go super short. I did 175 to 170. It helped my hips by not opening up as much. Don’t forget to lower your seat post. It’s definitely noticeable on the MTB with less crank strikes. You’re also able to keep spinning the cranks through turns. ( applicable to road too)

Yea but then I take my niterider off the bar mount and point it right at them as I ride by. Very satisfying
