I found if doing the Blue Mtn loop do it clockwise, its easier. I'll take the spring Cabin road to Tinsley and do the longer Tinsley climb back to Blue Mountain. The Swenson rock garden on Blue past Spring Cabin is tough or do it as figure 8 using the Tinsley as your cross over. That way you...

It's slowly getting more bikers but I always suprised that there isn't more people riding Stokes. Since the Blue Mtn loop was created the trail system has been great. There a few of us who keep Stokes maintained but still keep that raw old school feel. I also love doing the northwest section of...

Hahaha I was there today. I started up Cosmic. It was rideable. Most of the Shed was rideable just had to ride with caution. Few really nasty spots especially sheltered areas with a slope.

I was there yesterday riding. Still a few inches of snow on trails and a fat bike is needed. If you hit early in the morning when temps are below freezing it's pretty good but as soon as it gets soft it's slow go but doable.

Is there a place to ride now that it snowed ?

High Point and Stokes is great for snow riding. All the roads close for winter and allow snowmobiles. Once the sleds hit the area it's great for fat bikes.

I was there a few days ago. It's still closed and snow covered. It will be closed until the mud season is over and repairs are completed. Repairs prob won't happen until snow is gone and ground is thawed out. We are always looking for volunteers to help.
