I was on the trail between HB and the gorge this afternoon. its dry for the most part with a few icy patches scattered throughout which are avoidable.

Ok let's assume the trails are packed down over the weekend. Any specific trails to avoid? Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, I just haven't found any winter specific suggestions.

What trails do you recommend for snow biking here? Thinking of hitting the park up next week.

honestly tough to say, I couldn’t get more than a couple hundred feet into many trails within the park before I came across something substantial.

probably ranging between 12-18” diameter for the most part Some are still a few feet off the ground so it’s difficult to go over or under.

I can concur, rail trails and double track clear. A lot of single track is still unridable. Tried Trail up to tower, and a few trails before the lake and there Is a lot of work to do still. Too much for my sawzall for sure.

Not sure if there is a plan to clear out the trails ahead of this event but the Sussex rail trial is currently unrideable north of Newton with many downed trees. I've been sawing away and removing alot of downed branches but this has been pretty slow going and a chainsaw would be needed to...
