    Will anything be Ridable Wednesday?

While certainly not the best park in the state, it's better than not riding imo. Good place to work on fitness with a lot of climbing. The payoff kinda sucks with wide downhill without enough turning.

Getting back into it (Central NJ)

So of the places you mentioned on your wishlist 1) Lewis Morris - Good trail network, but further and worse than hartshorne imo. Also has patriots path right there if you want more mileage. Hilly but easy. 2) Nassau - Hidden gem. Very underrated imo. Flowy like 6 mile, but more rocks. There are...

Looking For Thoughts - Gravel/Adventure or Whatever You Wanna Call It Bike

Saw that you are still looking, and figured I'd offer you my $0.02 as I've gone down this road. Unless your wife is a serious cyclist, you are best off on your slowest bike when riding with the wife. Buying something purpose built for gravel will just wind up having you leaving her in the dust...

Boost 27.5 rear wheel 148 hub spacing for trail bike

I'm pretty sure XD drive isn't compatible with an SX eagle cassette (please correct me if I'm wrong because I mix up technical jargon). However, if price is good it might be cost effective to buy a gx cassette and convert, not sure if there are other things I need to consider for that conversion?

Boost 27.5 rear wheel 148 hub spacing for trail bike

What kind of hub is this? It does look like the right spacing but I don't know how to tell if it has the right driver, but if a decent hub I would be interested because then I just need to source a rim and spokes which shouldn't be too hard.

Boost 27.5 rear wheel 148 hub spacing for trail bike

Hey, So the hub died on my 2020 Giant Trance and the shop told me it's pretty hard to get wheels right now. I'm looking for a rear wheel with appropriate width (~30mm internal) to support a 2.4/2.5 tire. Am willing to drive to you and pay $$!!!! please message me if you have anything that might...

    Brightwood Park Update

This is what I noticed reading the article. It states MTB is legal yet trail improvement is an issue? Some serious mental gymnastics there haha.

    Essex County

Seems like they're mad that MTBers are doing the maintenance the park department always drops the ball on. The top picture from the article showing logs through a constant mud bog....isn't that good for hikers too?

    WTB 20” kids mtb

Hey thank you, I bought a bike, sorry for not saying I did in this thread!

    Never mind E-bikes ... what about E-boards???

Personally I think those things look pretty fun for riding around town or a light trail, but looks really sketchy for anything technical. I don't really see them doing any real trail damage because they don't go that fast, and the tire is wide (like fat bike wide i believe). Also they aren't...

    WTB 20” kids mtb

Preferably with gears. Rigid or hardtail should be fine. Looking to take my godson so beginner trails like Columbia/flow trails, 6 mile, etc. this summer.

"What the fudge is a downcountry?"

So we should have gotten our wives downcountry bikes and NOT pelotons, is what you are trying to say?

    Peloton Ad: Sexist or Stupid?

For what it's worth I asked my fiance what she thought. She watched it at work with a few female friends and they were confused why people were upset about the ad. My fiance rides a bike about 1-3x/year, when I convince her to ride a rail trail with me, but is interested in a peloton. We just...

Want to buy: 27.5 15x100 (thru-axle, non boost) tubeless wheel

I'm interested. Conversion kit for through axle? I'm assuming the neo hub they all come with. Pricing?

Want to buy: 27.5 15x100 (thru-axle, non boost) tubeless wheel

My hub is dying on my front wheel and its a crappy wheel anyways. I got a Stan's arch in the back, so if you got one of those that's ideal so everything is matchy matchy. But anything around 25 Inner diameter that will work with a 2.2-2.4 tire should work. Let me know if anyone has something I...
