Yea, I'm sure you could, any tubeless valve should work. I usually like to replace the valves though since over time the sealant does clog them up a bit. Just take your time on the install, don't rush it, or else you'll end up with a torn strip like the first time I did it. Good luck...

Yea, I've recently done this setup on my Stumpy since I've been very happy with the fat bike conversion. I think this method is the best for a well sealed bead. Haven't had to do anything to the fat bike tires, just added more sealant.

Well, thanks for the responses guys, I did end up getting in a short, but sweet ride over at Mercer. I started at the volleyball courts at the marina and just did the western part of the park. There were a few soft spots at first, but conditions were actually good over in the van nest section...

Dude...I had the privilege of trying a fatboy carbon with carbon wheels (and some other carbon parts) in a parking lot. The thing was crazy light. I might just pick one up and start helping you with that... ;)
