The Stewart 45 - Registration Open

I already registered. But I am new to the race. So "same as last year" means there is some kind of nutrition/water on course, or after the race is over?

MTBNJ Joins the H2H in 2015 at Allamuchy

Cool thanks. For the endurance class, is there a drop zone, or feed zone, or is it totally self supported?

Is this the address to use to get to the race?? 750 Waterloo Rd, Stanhope, NJ 07874 Being less than the sharpest tool in the shed, can't figure out exactly where the start is.

    Round Valley Conditions

Nice Pictures! I live a few minutes from RV - I think a lot more has melted over the last few days. Was going to try there over the weekend also.

    Chimney Rock Conditions

I was "the other rider" yesterday. Fitman's description is spot on. Upper blue and red need some more fat bikes. I was on my 29'r with knobby nicks and really low, pressure. Didn't try yellow or orange. Going to give it another shot today.

    Chimney Rock Conditions

Conditions were icy, but pretty rideable. I don't have a fat bike but was fine with low pressure in the tires on almost all the trails. Don't get your knickers in a bunch, the trails were hard so I didn't make any ruts! Yellow up towards High Tech was definitely tough. I think we met you out...

    Remote lockouts, are they worthwhile?

It's a great feature for racing (assuming you remember to use it during the race). It came with my bike and has been relatively maintenance free. I have it on my full suspension which also has a 1X10 - so I cleaned up the handle bars a little by getting rid of the front shifter. If you are...

    Michaux and Rattling

Awesome intel. Thanks. Given my level of conditioning (or lack thereof), I will skip Michaux and wait for Rattling - which from all accounts, is a great course. Plus it will give me a few more weeks to get my legs under me.

    Michaux and Rattling

Thanks. I don't have a Fat Bike, so it's been tough to get miles this winter. Possibly I'll skip Michaux and wait until Rattling. I've heard great things about that course.
