    Gas powered bikes?

Noticing that fat front tire. Have to ask, is he planning on some TROG Wildwood beach racing? Because that looks like it will be fun.

    Gas powered bikes?

Been following the Guzzi Guru, Mark Etheridge, on his IG MotoGuzziClassics for a while now. He's hysterical. Might have been following for too long. Because every now and then he shows a clean vintage LeMans for sale and I start thinking, "that'd be fun to have".

Today started out cold but warmed up nice. Mike and me cleared and brushed back the southern half of the Oak Hill Trail. Thanks Mike! No more putting your chin on the bars to get thru w/o a dozen or so slaps. The next scheduled maintenance day is Sunday 2/1/26. Thanks!

    Gas powered bikes?

Yuppers. Started riding motos in '72. Started competing in enduros in '77. Was riding motos till around '95 when I got a MTB. It's always been a hoot. Just now getting back to my roots. Have many fond memories of the club I was in during the late 70s... Hearing stories from one of the guys that...

The snow is gone. But you'll likely find more than a few pines bent over from the snow. Next scheduled WSF MTB trail maintenance is Sunday morning 1/4/26. Meet in the lot at 9:00. Back around noon. Current plan is to mount up and ride. Brushing back the trail and eliminating blowdowns as we...

If anyone is asking. Maps show that the PBT received two to three inches of snow. The snow is heavy, leaving many pines bent. You’ll likely be better off riding the sand roads.

A big thank you to the 12/7/25 volunteers! Bill spent most of the day on the PBT. Removing nine blowdowns and brushing back a lot of the trail. The rest of us spent time on the Huckleberry and northern Oak Hill Trail. Removing nine more blowdowns and brushing back a lot of those car wash...

Thanks! Sounds like you have it covered. If you have a trail maintenance kit, and a pack large enough to mule-a-tool, bring that too. If you don't have a kit, someone can loan you a tool for the morning.

Bill went out early today, solo w/ saw on the PBT. He sent some pictures and said that he sawed out nine(!) blowdowns. Thank you to everyone on the maintenance crew today! Got a lot done. Will follow up with proper thanks and some more pictures tomorrow. (My hand is a cramped claw right now.)

Yeah. Noticed that bridge tree on my last ride. It's already developing a go-round. Mike "Air" Newman might be joining us tomorrow. We'll see if he can hop it. If he can hop it, we'll leave it, and clear the go-round some more. Giving us more old-school flavor. At least for the experienced...

Congrats on the new pup! Prelim plan is to ride CCW cleaning up and continuing CCW on the blue Huckleberry trail to clear up that car wash and blowdown. That plan might change during our parking lot safety discussion though. I DM'd you my cell#. Give a call if we've left the lot before your arrival.

Suitable compressor for seating tubeless tires

Found that removing the valve core and inflating w/ the nozzle is the quickest way to seat tubeless. Also have been slowly moving away from tubeless. And returning back to lightweight tubes (w/ removable valve cores) and filling them w/ the right amount of sealant. Quick install; the sealant...

    Gas powered bikes?

For a little more dollar than a good bicycle. Bought a '26 KLX two months ago. It's not a barn burner like a 350 Husky or 450 Honda. But it's fun enough for this senior citizen. Added; DOT knobbies, bash guard, brush guards, rally pack, DoubleTake mirror, Kouba-Link, and heavier shock spring...
