No, just sanded lightly, applied more material over cut sections, sanded smooth and repeated the process a few times until I was satisfied with the buildup

Thanks! Wheels are being built up at hilltop by @jimvreeland, hopefully will be ready by beginning of the week, tomorrow I'll be putting the bike together for a test ride before I start on the paint aspect of the project. So far everything looks very promising...

Maybe mtbnj should add an option in a members profile to manually input their JORBA member # and that will automatically grant a ribbon to the avatar... I'm sure all members wouldn't have a problem taking a few seconds to update their profile.
