@Berms&Boofs Big tree down on orange section on the backside of the Tourne hill climb. Somewhere in the rock gardens where I circled blue. Likely need MCPC to help. It’s a flow killer!!

Good intentions that missed the mark. This shallow water crossing didn’t need a rock bridge, especially not at the bottom of a fast downhill and as sketchy as this. Also had the potential to further dam an already dammed up section of the stream. @trailhead, this has been removed.

Another new brewery on rt 10, this in Morris plains. Autodidact. Nice place and the hoppy beers were tasty.

Cleaned up top of new way down this morning, but still some suspended big stuff left that’s gonna need a chainsaw and someone that knows how not to die to clear the rest. It’s passable tho. Also, should we sunset the “crowd sourced maintenance” thread and post here instead?

I’m sure the land managers will try more signs and fencing. It’s been tried in the past and most are still up on that part of the trail. There is a legal walking path down to “mouse rock” or something like that, but it’s supposed to be an out and back. It does seem to be some of the younger...

At the top of the gravel climb there are some picnic tables. It’s coming down from there.

Several strava tracks down the trail mentioned above over the past few days. This was from this morning. Stick to the marked trails, we almost lost this place 10 years ago because of riders coming down this way

We should stop catering to this Nagy fellow and eliminate any bypass around technical features. He’s gotta man up at some point. As always, thanks for all the effort Norm. Rode this section Sunday and didn’t get around to post up on the downfall but sounds like you got both trees.

Everything in the area is in great shape, Wildcat likely the same. We’re in for some snow and rain then more snow this week so tomorrow might be last day of these amazing conditions for bit.
