    Ask an automobile mechanic.

Are the other tech envious that you get to do this kind of work or do they pity you for not being able to beat book hours doing the same thing you've done 100X before? (Or maybe you don't get paid that way - I can't recall if you've said).

Bring a Trailer - OMFG or On Topic

A friend of mine had regular access to one for about a year. He didn't like it for just putting around. Said it shifted hard, felt too big, and the suspension was rough. His daily at the time was an E92 M3 IIRC and is now a 997 C4S Cab, so not a Camry driver unaccustomed to sporty cars...

I think that Mercedes was at the Red Bank Cars & Coffee this morning.

    Gas powered bikes?

As you should. :) $250. $185 if you join the club for $400. This is the group: https://njmp.com/the-riders-club/ TBH, I'm not sure the beginner class was the best ever. The instructor was good but the format felt rushed and the track time wasn't as controlled as I thought it should be but...

    Gas powered bikes?

I had some fun yesterday. Trip to NJMP for a track day. Took the first timer school. There was a little confusion in my first lead.follow session and we ended up going faster than normal. Here's my rear tire after 6 laps. :) Had a lot of fun. Beginner group was a little frustrating but...

    Gas powered bikes?

C'mon, let us hear the engine! :) I wish there were trails like that near me. I can't see towing 90(?) minutes for it (especially given the Fight Club nature of them if I understand things).

Biggest crash in stock market history?

That part I get - but how do I profit on that? Short the VIX? Probably not the strategy he's using.

Biggest crash in stock market history?

My investment banker friend said something about a play involving the VIX returning to the mean. He seemed surprised that I didn't know WTH he was talking about (I mean, I understand the words but have no idea how one structures something like that).

    2021. .. now with even more 2020!

I'm missing all the sweet '90s 26ers tho.

    Gas powered bikes?

I have no idea. Honestly, until we pulled up and someone made a comment about how unusual it was to see TWO of them together, I just thought it was a cool orange Triumph. I know a bit about bikes from the early 80s to early 90s so I was loving the Turbo bikes, the VF1000Rs, the early VFR, etc...

    Gas powered bikes?

Sorry I missed this/you. Pretty cool show. Lots of interesting stuff. NS400R! I've never seen one in person. That's my buddy John with the Hurricane. I was around the corner where the support vehicle had gas for the other guys. The Vincent and the ancient Norton came in with a guy who...

    Gas powered bikes?

Just about to head out to meet my friends. Look for my blue/white Husky 701. I assume I'll be with a couple Nortons (which narrows it right down!).

    Ask an automobile mechanic.

That does not look or sound like fun at all! I just did a quick web search on the of the recall. Next up: customers complaining about how much AdBlue it uses now that it doesn't emit so much NOx.

    Ask an automobile mechanic.

Yep. It turns out it has two oil pumps. Not sure why, but it explains the two filters, I guess.

    Ask an automobile mechanic.

Oh man, I remember those. I thought I remember the 'plug' was too flimsy for an impact and we resorted to chisels on the bad ones. Oil change related: I changed the oil on my Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen last night. Same engine as the KTM 690 Duke (a bunch of KTMs, I guess). Craziest thing I've...

    E-bikes are a thing

I had no idea that even existed and it's been out for a year. You can remove the battery/motor package and save 6.4lbs but it still weighs 6-7lbs more than a non-e Supercal.

Excellent pshop by someone who's never opened the hood of a front engine Corvette.

    E-bikes are a thing

We were just talking about that this morning. My buddy said he averaged 5mph for the first 10 miles!

    E-bikes are a thing

It's less than 600,000. IIRC from another Highside Lowside podcast, US MC sales fell dramatically in '08/'09 and never really recovered. There was a blip last year but it's coming off a decade of declines. 15 million cars last year.

    E-bikes are a thing

I'm so used to bicycle prices, I can't understand how motorcycles can be so cheap. They're both fairly low volume products but a motorcycle is infinitely more complex. My Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen retailed for $9500 and nobody bought them. Too expensive for a big single. A Supercaliber XX1...
