Day 21...

Couldn’t get up early again, so we waited until late afternoon to ride. Went to CT figuring the shade would make the ride bearable.

On the ride out, the heat was in full force. We turned around and within 5 minutes the sky broke open and it was a deluge. We got drenched in a few minutes. Made it to the crossing at 513 and saw a really nice double rainbow.

As we enjoyed the rainbow we started to see lightning just below it. We missed the lightning in the pic, but got a better shot of the double bow.

I tested out a new bag for my phone and it was a success. Made it back to the car and although we were covered in grit, we managed to avoid any more T-storms.

Sunday - Trying to keep my heart rate down as low as possible. Until the sky opened up and the hail started to fall the last 4 minutes of my ride. (no pics)

I would have thought the heat would have knocked a few out, but it didnt! Keep up the good work everyone!
