So...last weekend I went for another solo century ride, this time on my neglected road bikes I took my regular route starting from clifton to Suffern-seven lakes-bear mountain-peekskills-Croton dam then finally down to north south county trails follow that all the way down to van Cortlandt park in Bronx then home x-I got GW bridge in total 112 miles

I felt so good in mental and physical
And the morning drizzle makes it even more fun
Temperatures was in around 75ish degree and roads was clear of debris gets washed clean from previous rain
Also..the bear mountain tower was closed so I had those summit all to myself

Leg conditions keep progressing fine
For biking doesn’t that bother me much, but as for walking longer and mucho tiempo the leg got swollen bad and slightly painful I guess the scar tissues is still not fully mending yet.

Also next weekend
I will be doing Vermont GranFondo
So,I might be driving or Riding to Vermont
Let’s see what’s my leg tell me what to do

On Tuesday 6/25 I took metro north train from 125th street in Harlem bound for Dover Plains,NY using Harlem rail line, trip took only 1:45minutes
It was raining, but I did visit The Stone Church it’s a Caves,
Done admiring the caves
Continues to next destination
Millerton,NY a small hamlet not far from Wassaic train station I rode on HVRT took about 1:45 minutes to get here
The Taconic state park has camping grounds just a mile outside Millerton
So,I stop there and camp for a night
No others campers I had those place all to myself

Second days
After finishing break down the tent
About a block down distance I saw a bear near the dumpster trying to get free breakfast
I leave him be..

Moving on the next destination is Climbing Mount Greylock summit this is my second times
The first time I wasn’t so lucky the weather was so bad I couldn’t see anything within hundreds feet away because of thick fog that was in cold month
So, yesterday was nice day
Clear sky but hot and humid

It’s only 8 miles long to the summit from the gate at bottom it took about 1:35 minutes to get it done with stops for taking pictures
The roadway is nice and quite not many tourists coming up and down
I made it up there
I climb the tower with very nice views drop atop

Upon leaving the park,I saw AT hikers went into the Lodge turn out they did having place to stay for everyone looking to spend a night in the summit
So,I decided to stay for a night here

Woke up this morning 6/27 at 5am
Not a restful night though
I shared the rooms with two other Thru hikers
They are AT thruhikers
We chat shared our trails talks....

No one wakes up yet
So I leave quietly
Went outside and checking out the sunrise

Now I’m in Williamstown eating breakfast at fancy cafe in downtown
Today will be crossing Massachusetts into Vermont..

Days without service really hard to deal with the world nowadays

As of right now 9:45 pm
At fancy Inn in Wayburry,VT
Also rain so hard now, glad I didn’t camp tonight

I finished Vermont GranFondo just about 5hrs ago
It was really fun and tough as well
But I did climbs only two Gaps
Lincoln and Appalachian
Leaving Middlebury Gap untouched by me
Because,my Fractured leg giving up on me
So,in order to save my leg
Called the SAG wagon and throw towel in
Lincoln Gap makes Bear mountain looks so tiny
It’s beyond compare,I surprised myself I can clean all the climbs,,,but later I pay the hefty price.
So only able to do 75 miles...

Also noticed almost all the folks who rode today’s aren’t newbie they all are either racer or former pro or just simply strong and experienced cyclist
Only a few are brave enough to do this ride
So,if you’re not in good shape (like the OOS guys here, don’t bother to come, sure you can but you’ll need to ride in Ambulance afterwards) ?? JK
