Got laid off earlier this year and seeking employment!

I'm a UX Designer with a Masters Degree in HCI from Carnegie Mellon and 15 years of experience. I am industry-agnostic, but prior roles have been in financial services, publishing, human resources, cyber-security, and education technology. Most recently I was at MassMutual for 5 years, with a focus on usability for sales reporting, data analytics and dashboards for financial advisors. I've done more work for internal enterprise organizations than consumer-facing (less experience in B2C).

Looking for senior IC roles, open to NYC but would be delighted to keep my commute in NJ.

appreciate any connections or leads!

Hey just saw this. I don't have an opening right now but connect with me on LinkedIn and we maybe have a PD opening in the months ahead. Freelance or FT. - Justin Torrento

I know it's been months since you posted, but Upwork remains a great option if you know how to filter the noise. Manual filtering is a slow death, so I chose to use https://apify.com/upwork-vibe/upwork-job-scraper instead .

It pulls relevant jobs in seconds without me even having to visit the site. It helped me quickly identify several UX design leads for large companies that actually pay fairly.

Just started a new job 2 weeks ago!
Contract (to hire? So they say) at a consumer healthcare pharmaceutical company. dashboards and analytics tools for net revenue management, price change effects and predictions/simulator.

Bit if a chaotic environment, rush rush rush to build things we don't know if anyone really wants... Nothing super surprising yet. Will see how it goes. Huge relief to be working again, the job market is coocoo now and has been for a while.

Check the job postings at Fiserv. HQ is in Berkeley Heights. I know some seniors there. If you see anything of interest, DM me and I’ll see if I can get to the hiring manager.
