Nassau Trail conditions

You should be fine. Couple of trees down still but conditions otherwise are good to go.

Should be fine for surface. Please let us know if more trees came down. Probably 1,000 sticks after we just cleared them

Conditions were great this morning, all crunchy dirt and leaves. Didn't see any blow downs but lots of branches everywhere. I do miss the flow here but kept on finding myself in hiking only trails. I parked at Foran, but prefer the Nassau Rd lot. Will need to figure out a better route next time. Great work @Jeremy for keeping up with the trails here, I'll put this on my rotation as I ease back to riding.

I rode Nassau today too. Agree with @qclabrat that the ground is nice and firm. I did however come across a bunch of blowdowns, a couple of widowmakers and a ton of derailleur magnets. I cleared a few by hand (no saw though) but here are the bigger ones (had to break them in to two posts):

I rode from Foran field up to spingside. The snow was good, lots of traction. I was surprised that there were no bike tracks

Rode late today on the fatbike. Although I could tell there was ice underneath, last nights snow on top provided surprisingly great grip. About 2/3rds of the trails had no other bike tracks in the new snow.

I did the whole place on NYE and it was so cold I wasn’t even leaving tracks.

Trails are good and dry to ride hero dirt in some sections.

Went yesterday, 4/26. Conditions were great. No wet spots, good traction. A+

OK good to know. I'm guessing today conditions should be even better.

Was out yesterday and trails are in perfect condition (dry & leafy). Couple of trees down and a bunch of sticks all over the place.
I cleaned up a bunch to open up the trails, but still plenty more to do.

Almost perfect. One larger tree down on the old side but other side is primo. Few people out too!
