Post Your Doggo [woof]

Found a small lump under her armpit so brought Shelby in to get it checked out. She’s a bit anxious in general but she loves the car and she really loves the one veterinarian who’s been taking care of her since she was a puppy.

She got bored waiting for 30 minutes and was nearly falling asleep.

Took a needle sample and thankfully it’s just a fatty tumor (lipoma) which isn’t uncommon for around her age at almost 8. Nothing to do just monitoring it for growth. VERY relieved.

However he did find a cracked molar tooth that needs to come out so that’s scheduled for end of March. She needed some pre surgery blood work for that. The vet tech really liked the command I use for her exams (Check) where she’s taught to stay still he said it worked perfect and I wasn’t even in the room. She got some extra treats when we got home.

Read something on those types of tumors. It was done by the University of Pittsburg, saying it is related to their gut, but I forgot about the treatment. It was done by diet.
