Anyone know how to unstick a Garmin 1040 start/stop button? It kept going to save and I would have to stop and back screen to pause. And then restart ride. Freaking irritating
2/7 - It was supposed to be a mellow Z2 2:30- ride but I ended up doing a bigger effort. Z2 rides are the ones harder to stick to the program for me. They are boring since you can't do anything than churn, basically, or you go outside the zone. Also, on a windy day like today, against the wind I was in my lowest gear going ~6 mph. On the way back I got into a little racing with some kids though. That was fun but I'm going to pay the price tomorrow.

Temp drop 8 degrees during my ride and winds north pf 30 mph made for some cool videos with the 1” of snow we got. Mercer is great right now with a unique ride in.
Yesterday I had zero motivation to do anything except sit on the couch and watch the Olympics on and off so I took off doing any workouts and hung out with the dog.
Decided last night need to get some climbing on and stop just rolling around zwift all the time so set a goal to climb 5K elevation and found the VenTop climb fit the bill.
Took it steady between Z2-Z3 effort so I didn’t blow myself up since I had no idea how long it would really take. The actual climb took me just a bit over 2 hours then I needed to pedal more on the descent to flush out the legs. Rounded up to 30 miles just because it got me to 2:45.
Legs are sore so good workout without destroying myself. Time for the recovery boots and massage gun.
It was like someone groomed the loop below at LewMo. Trails were all good and easy to ride. Nothing north of Mendham Road was good, but this loop was decent. It was pretty much just this. Any of the other trails weren't groomed.
