The Good Deals Thread

With all this snow, I started looking at upgrading my old bikes direct fat bike. Seems KHS is closing down as the owner is retiring. So there are a bunch of KHS 4 seasons 1000’s for sale for $700. The frame is updated as far as fat bikes go, ok group set, pretty decent deal imo.

Are you driving to Crosslake, MN to do local pickup only?

Sad to hear this, I still have a Flite 2000 as a trainer bike from when I did short triathlons 25 years ago. Very light and compliant bike, great build quality with aluminum main and carbon stays.

Don’t know if I am buying one, not sure how much they want for shipping. Boreals is selling Flume frames for $500 + $100 shipping. Much lighter and better quality frame but the geometry is a a bit off. I would also have to get a 197mm rear wheel. Corvus is also selling Skookum frames for $600, it’s geometry is very up to date but they have had some issues since production moved to main land China…..
