I have not tried but also heard this works. Makes sense that it would. He said it worked the same but didn’t waste a bunch of cleaning product and the device stayed clean. Anyone try this?

Makes sense especially to save cleaning product, you would still have to wipe clean the ultrasonic tank though. Mine is stainless steel with a drain, it takes about 10 seconds to clean. Will try. That’s one ugly stripper
Read a review from a guy who was putting small parts (not bike parts) in a ziplock baggie full of his preferred cleaning product and putting that in his ultrasonic cleaner which was full of water. It's is so easy with the Silca set up. I probably rewax way too often, and then reuse my quick links 😬So much faster. View attachment 268623
New xt chain
Degreaser than some denatured alcohol.
Did that yesterday at work.
Wax this morning at home
I reuse shimano quicklinks without issue, SRAM flattop 12 speed quick links, have broken 2 after reusing so no more. It's is so easy with the Silca set up. I probably rewax way too often, and then reuse my quick links 😬
Only issue I've had with quicklinks (Shimano) and wax is that wax get in the little groove where the opposite link is supposed to snap in, then it does not snap in. A quick clean of the groove and they're snapping like a turtle...I reuse shimano quicklinks without issue, SRAM flattop 12 speed quick links, have broken 2 after reusing so no more.

Dude those things are like $30 each now. How about a lithium battery instead?I'll give you $1 to wax that 9-volt battery.

Just throw them in the Passaic. They’ll dissolve like sugar cubes.I have a few dozen e bike batteries I need to unload. I was gonna throw them in a river but that crockpot might be more fun.
