I was at Blue for the opening day with my kids after school. Thank goodness I was not there for this mayhem. It was a shit show though. Only two trails open and only one actually covered edge to edge. One trail was only half the width as normal and knuckleheads jumping off the edges and trying to kill my kids and me. The one trail we hit was actually decent and got in a nice handful of runs before being cold and tired and going for burgers. All in all it was worth the trip for opening day, but not sure I'd go back unless more terrain was opened.

We skiied Sunday 8 to 1 and they had a few more trails open. It wasn't bad

That's good to hear. We are planning on going this Sunday so there should be more open by then as well. We were hoping they were going to drop the ropes on some trails Friday, but that was not the case.
Six inches yesterday at Belleayre and mostly groomed overnight. Pretty much all hero snow today. A bit chilly so it’s nice to have the gondola every few runs.
