Rode pretty much everything on both sides. Trails are primo. Trimming was noticed and appreciated. A few trails could still use a little more but nothing terrible. Picked up a bunch of sticks here and there and muscled off 1 big tree. Everything is totally clear. Thanks!
Gonna need a JCPL truck out on the trail to fix this. Accidentally hit this pole head-on with my bike and snapped it Clean at the base. 🤣🤣J/k but the top half of the pole is just dangling by the wires!
I was told there are some decent sized trees down. One on lower La Primera before you drop to the creek crossing, and a couple near the big rock garden as your climbing up.
If I can escape for a ride this afternoon, I’ll try to pinpoint locations a little better.
I rode yesterday before stuffing my fat face and the trails were in nice shape. Moved a few big branches, but guessing they dropped in the 24 hours prior....nothing major to report. We had a pop-up storm Wed, but there were no signs of that in the trails.
Trails are in surprisingly good condition. For all the snow there wasn’t a ton of moisture. I was back there today as things were defrosting and it wasn’t as terrible as I thought it may be. Tomorrow won’t be great because it’s supposed to warm up but Monday looks good.
There’s also a ton of branches and debris on the ground from all the wind. So if you go, plan on either kicking some to the side or riding over it.
