They are bringing back the Grasshopper Kids Race in Cedar Grove for its 13th edition!

⏰ Saturday, September 6, 2025: 9AM
📍West Essex Trail below the Cedar Grove Community Center
💰$10 just to kind of sort of cover expenses! (please pre-register, but we can take cash at the event)

Hi! I'm the new organizer here. Happy to answer any questions. Got a bit of a late start with slow permits but VERY EXCITED to be bringing this race back. It's where my daughter started to bike race and my son is excited for his first year!

Race is about 10 days away! SO appreciative of the support for this new / first time race organizer! We'll also have some goodies there from Optima Care (formerly Alaris Health) who are generously letting us use their parking lot AND giving some back to school supplies to our racers!

In particular, I'd love to see some more 2-3 grade and 4-5 grade girls in here. If anyone is on the fence please encourage them to sign up! My own daughter will likely rabbit the 2-3 grade and then race the 4-5, so I think those two will both be SUPER fun and supportive races!

And thank you so much for the support. The mtb community really came through to give us a HUGE amount of help here!!
