just curious and not busting on you because of the edge of the carpet on the steps, but are they front declawed?

Our younger cat is 9 years old and that was right around the time they made the new law where you are not allowed to do that anymore.

while I am hoping the two we have now make it to a nice old age like the last 2 we had, if we get new kittens somewhere down the road I will have to read up on how to manage cats with intact front claws.

Our carpet was destroyed by our first two cats. We did not declaw them…before it was passed as a law. They would not let us trim them either. Only the vet could do it, when they were sedated!

These two have their claws but will let us trim them.
