Blast off!!!

When Nigel was doing his speech i realized i didnt load the route. Ended up with an extra 4 plus miles from wrong turns... shhhh. Cue sheet blow btw!!

Cue sheets are the worst. Although even with the Garmin I always miss a turn or 2 because I keep it in Battery Saver Mode and the screen is off.

Next time!! You doing the Centenary?

I was talking to a few folks about battery life. Once i go into navigation it mine as well start at 50%.

I am going to Centenary!

Wahoo? Could just run it off a charging block or a Dyno Hub. Or back when I ran an 810 I just brought 2 and switched when one died. I still have an extra 810 if you want to use it.

The 830 in Battery Saver Mode uses about 25% battery every 12 hours so those days are over.

I think I'm back to where I need to be. Finished yesterday feeling like I didn't ride. Hit the bed early for a full 10+ hours sleep. Woke up today ready to rip it. My body responds very well to volume and 2x500 mile weeks really hit the spot.

My plan is to keep the momentum going with another schedule shift. 200k Tuesday and longer Saturday. At this point I'd like to do my SR in May being there's a 600k the last weekend. I haven't found a scheduled 400 so I may just pre-ride the Wildwood Course as a DIY Brevet.

My Co-worker Jake moved into 11th overall.

And HB has 3 of us in the top 10 Commuters. Walk the walk.

Sorta giving the legs a break with another basic Commute. Surprisingly I dodged all of the rain today and stayed dry until a few minutes from home. My Team Mates were inspired by some of my efforts and have dug in to put us in 1st overall. What's gonna work? Teamwork. 200k on tap tomorrow but I haven't picked a route yet.

We win days off, some unknown swag, and $500 towards a Charity of our choice. I'm donating mine to the Raptor Trust if I win. I stopped by last week to let them know I was riding a lot for the Owls.

Rain this morning so took the long way home. I have another kid thing tomorrow after work so I'll need to take the longer way in to avoid falling too far behind. Right now I'm 75 miles in the hole to make 2,022.
