Washington's Crossing?

@Bleeder, @KenS -

What do you need from @Sendit88 ?

@Sendit88 - have you attended any public meetings? read any back minutes?
Educate yourself on who is in charge of each area, and if there is any master plan.
also, see if there are any historical events which may link the areas - ie Gen Washington walked this way....

I appreciate you pushing, don't be discouraged by the glacial pace

Here is a link on our webpage with some thoughts on starting a volunteer program: https://jorba.org/starting-a-volunteer-group/

@Sendit88 you do not need to be "high ranking" in JORBA to effect change or make things happen. JORBA exists because people, like you, take up a cause and advocate for it. We can help with insurance, tools, trail building expertise, marketing, etc. but the chapter head (or prospective chapter head) and local volunteers are the ones who make things happen.

@Patrick gave solid advice. Find out the lay of the land, who is responsible for what, who the other stakeholders are (and are they organized into a friends or other volunteer group?), educate yourself on the history and then devise a plan and reach out to us.
