I hope you're riding clipless to complete the bad ideas calculation.

Why not bring the geared bike? Paul de Vivie invented the rear derailleur for a reason.

I'm surprised by the lack of mechanicals, as there were 6 of us at the Dick last night. 3 of us SS's and 3 geared peeps. Trails were in great shape. It was a great night to be out on the bike.
