Rode from 27 lot through orange to white.

I think this has already been noted: the bridge close to the Jacques lot on white is out (1st 2 pics). There’s a fairly steep drop off here and I would personally avoid it for now.

The bridge on red towards the beginning of the trail coming from the 27 lot is there but has been dislodged (last 2 pics) - I walked it…

The trail itself is mostly good with a mix of tacky, dry, and a few wet spots. All other bridges I came across were fine (I didn’t ride red where it split from orange).

I’m gonna start by rebuilding the bridge this morning on the white t

I’m usually resistant to ask for help but what the heck. If you have a cordless drill with a T 25 head bring it

I’m bringing a Carpenter with me, but we could use a hand moving materials

likely be out there from 10-1sh

Knocked out the easiest rebuild today. More to follow. This one is a foot higher than the one it replaced. Likely still no match for the big storms that we are seeing

Thanks to Ed for brining by a shale bar as I seem to have luck finding the only rocks 🪨 for miles around.

thanks to Tyler from Pineo Constructon who builds using tape measures, levels. .. so fancy.

Btw.. the ebike boom is a real thing. For sure saw more ebikes today than analog bikes. Also more people riding with loud music than ever. Seems they all are playing the same song.

Speaking of speakers… this comes to mind.

And it’s not a 6MR ride without
- crowds of hikers or bikers stopped on the trail shooting the breeze
- that guy going full send through a blind turn chasing KOTM
- bluetooth speaker dude

i started using the timber bell recently and it's been great! especially since i got clip in pedals a few months ago. most people hear me coming long before they see me.

If I understand correctly we can ride the blue trail but will require wading through water where the bridges are missing. White is ready to be ridden after the bridge was rebuilt. How about the red trail from Jacques lane? I do not remember crossing any bridges up to Middlesbush? I have not ridden any of the trails from rt.27 lot so any insight into that would be great.

I think you'll be fine from the 27 lot. I rode from there last weekend through orange (not red where it splits from orange) and there were no bridges out. Maybe a few areas you might prefer to walk though...

Here's a link to my full post from then: https://www.mtbnj.com/forum/threads/6-mile-run-conditions.23594/post-1092262

Are any other trials except white rideable? Want to hit the trails tomorrow.
Was there this am. All trails are rideable.

There is a wooden bridge out on Blue but a new trail has already been blazed to Blackwells Mills Rd to cross the stream.

Coming from the canal side, just look for the offshoot trail near a black culvert.

And on red, near the split with white, the two wooden bridges were knocked off their postings. Fortunately, this stream is fordable and some of you might even have the chops to bike it. Not me though.

So thanks to our TM crew, 6MR seems open for business. Canal lot was full by 9 when i finished up.
