What's unplugged in the back top right of the picture?
No the whole thing should be frosty.
Are there two sets of coils? Maybe a clog in the line, i would expect a low Freon condition to prevent both sides from cooling
You typically can't add to these systems. If the tstat isnt working in the other freezer you found your problem, especially if the other one gets this one working 😉

Are you aware that white duct tape is actually available? Wow, not even a piece of carboard behind the tape to prevent the wavy surface...can we have a look at the electrical box on the other side of the dealio? the rearview of crooked cut out looks promising...I fixed it myself!

And tomorrow my guy @SmooveP gonna cover over that duct tape with a built in cabinet, so don’t worry about that waviness.
PervDid not disappoint!
No duct tape, disappointed.Today’s project-
Swapping out the switch on a @elzoller sump pump.
Given they estimate the lifespan of these to be 3-5 years, this 11 y/o switch owes me nothing.
To up the degree of difficulty, I worked with the pump in place in the pit.
Mostly because it sits below the battery back up unit and I’m lazy.
Plus it added that Indiana Jones vibe- working carefully while the pit slowly fills with water....

Pretty straightforward-
Probably hardest part was getting the light gasket to stay in place while refitting the cover.
A little RTV would have been nice to hold it in place.
