The 8/4/20 storm, Isaias, hit the area hard. Lots of power outages. On the area roads there were downed trees, and more limb litter then I've seen in a while. Expect the trails to be the same. No sniveling.
I got on the orange from Mt D Rd. Going to Mount. Came across 3 bad blocked sections. I can work this Saturday if anyone is going out.

There are still power outages in the area. I hope to finish clearing my own acreage soon. Am planning to head out Sunday. Following up on Sandman’s work.

It’ll get done. We’ve done it before.

Started from Carranza, took mt.D road, then Mount Rd. ,turned left, then left on the orange trail 20200808_104853.jpg, then 20200808_110834.jpg, and20200808_112532.jpg, got to the next cluster of oaks,20200808_122641.jpg,did a by-pass20200808_122704.jpg,and finally 20200808_130810.jpg. This is about 3.75 miles of trail.
Next Wednesday, I will scout out from Mount Rd. to Quaker Bridge Rd. Small steps.

Careful watcha wish for dude! People complain about the pinecones!
True dat. So why the sounds of silence?
I did some clean up before this years Wharton 40, thinking this is great. Shortly after, I saw on another site, someone was displeased with how that trail was looking. I have no room in my back-pack for a rake. I only ask about section's because I would like to park near the work area. I will not do anything without Kurt's knowledge.

Visited the middle of the FireTower green double track with KatanaBoy. That section of trail surprisingly wasn't bad, an oak and several pines got sawed before I started to feel the chiggers on my ankles.

Parked at Carranza today and rode up Mount Devious to the orange trail, turned left cw. Things were looking good, passed by Mount, and was on the switch back section, and ran into this. 20191024_193942.JPG then 20191024_194821.JPG Kept going to the Blue trail. Got to the Red and turned left. Did not get very far.20191024_201827.JPG20191024_201851.JPG Turned around, got back to the blue, turned left, and made my wat to the orange trail. The blue needs a lot of work, but can still be used. you will do some walking, so ware your long socks up to your knees20191024_203107.JPG20191024_202622.JPG20191024_203104.JPG Did not go down the white. I would stay off the red, and use the blue if you feel you must. Kurt, I can get to the orange next Saturday if no one else gets there first. The back end is not an issue, and I can do that on Wednesday afternoon rides.

Thanks. Went down a bit of the north half of the Oak Hill Trail from SmellSour Rd.. It is bad. I hope to spend some time on the Huckleberry Trail later this week.
