Went to Ray's for my first time last week with my daughter who doesn't usually ride single track (road and rails to trails mostly). Rented DJs per Utah's reco. We only had time to ride one evening but was blown away by the place.
Moon room was way more fun than expected. Rode the big loop...
Rode today for the first time this year. Conditions were perfect. Didn't realize how much of the beginner track was redone. Blue was good, but I need to work on my jumping technique.
Was anyone there recently and currently missing gloves? I found them in the lot and put them on the planter
Planning on it. Hand is mostly healed so this week the heat can be my excuse for being at the back (and you know the usual bit about being out of shape)
Which way are you thinking? Heading away from the lot (like TF) or heading back?
I had my closest today on on of the blind turns. We just about touched front wheels
I got back. No problem. The bleeding was stopped by the time I got there so I just re-wrapped it with some Neosporin on it. All wrapped up today but doing fine.
What happened with the rotor?
Hoping to make it tonight. I put the bike in the car cause the chance of thunderstorms looks pretty high. Guess we'll see if we get lucky like last week.
This is my standard set of loops. The first one is (I think) the typical race route. Then there's a little loop around the north side that I do if I have time. Park at the little lot by the lake (where the start / finish is on this map)
